It’s ironic that Ikea looks on the U.S. and Danville the way that most people in the U.S. look at Mexico.
In Sweden, IKEA factory workers start at $19 an hour with five weeks of paid vacation. At the company’s only American plant, workers get $8 an hour and 12 vacation days — eight of which are chosen by the corporation. via the L.A. Times. (via washingtonpoststyle)
