Thursday, the Senate Judiciary Committee approved a bill that would “permit television coverage of all open sessions” of the Supreme Court. If this bill is approved by the full Senate, it will grant greater access to the proceedings of the court. Currently, justices only provide transcripts and audio recordings of their oral arguments.
